Simple, Compound, and Complex Sentence Sort

This fun activity has students cutting, sorting and pasting simple, compound, and complex sentences into the correct column. Great for review, fomative assessments, or small group work!

After the sentences are sorted, you can also have students arrange them in sequential order as they build to a short story.

The sort also includes a blank template that students can use to create their own sort and then switch with a partner!

Click here and enjoy this wonderful resourse.
